  • food processor or blender (a mini food processor works especially well)

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup raw unsalted cashews
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Combine the cashews, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and pepper in a food processor. 
  • Pulse until the mixture becomes a coarse meal.
  • Sprinkle on top of your favorite Italian-inspired dishes for added crunch and flavor.

Notes

  • Quick vegan Parmesan may be stored in a jar in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator. It is best used within a month.
